Rocky Von Wagner

Rocky brings over 20 years of experience as a professional musician to the Worship Department at HIS CHURCH. Rocky is an accomplished singer, plays both acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar and ukulele.  He has created original music that has been performed and aired on radio and television.

Rocky has played throughout California at festivals, fundraisers, weddings, corporate events, community gatherings such as Fresno's Fig Gig, Clovis Farmers Market, Fresno Community Food Bank Gala, the Big Fresno Fair and much more.

Rocky is also a music instructor at Minarets High School where he brings his love of music to high school students.  His students are learning guitar and he teaches student how to form their own bands, learn songs and perform in the school's Show Band for rallies, assemblies and other events.  "My goal is to give the gift of music to anyone who wants it, in a positive and friendly environment where learning and fun go hand in hand."

Rocky was a member of the Worship Team at YLCC for over 20 years, serving in whatever capacity was needed.  He lead the Worship Team at the Redwood Christian Mens' Retreat in 2015 and served as the Sunday Night Worship Leader at YLCC.

Rocky is strong in his Christian faith.  He grew up in a faith-filled home.  He never misses a moment to spread the Word to anyone he comes into contact with, no matter if it's at a professional music show or anywhere the Lord leads him.
